Akoustic Arts’ directional speaker B was recently used at Cité de l’Espace (https://www.cite-espace.com), enhancing the visitor experience in two major exhibits: Orbital Dance, an interactive game about space debris, and the Galerie des innovations, which presented content related to space exploration.
Delivering immersive audio in a museum setting without disrupting nearby exhibits was essential, especially in open spaces where noise spillover could interfere with the visitor experience.
Directional speaker B provided focused audio for each exhibit, ensuring visitors heard only what was intended for them, while the surrounding environment remained quiet and undisturbed.
Directional sound ensured that visitors could fully engage with the interactive elements of Orbital Dance without distractions. By focusing the sound exactly where it was needed, the speakers minimized noise pollution throughout the exhibition spaces.
